The Vitaminata shower filter collection

All Vitaminata filters clean water the same way – they trap iron and impurities and soften the water. What differs is the scent. So when choosing, answer three questions: which scent you like, how many people will use the shower and whether the filter is a gift.

1. Scent

We have grouped the scents:

Not sure which to choose? Answer 4 questions in the “Which filter suits you?” quiz – it will suggest 3 scents to match your taste.

How strong the scent is depends on the water temperature – warmer water smells more intense. For the first day or two the scent is lighter, because the vitamin gel inside the filter is only starting to dissolve.

2. How many filters do you need?

One filter lasts 30–60 days for a family of up to 4. The more people and the longer the showers, the sooner it needs replacing.

  • 1–2 people – one filter usually lasts almost two months.
  • 3–4 people – it is worth replacing the filter every month, so a set pays off.
  • 5 or more – replace it more often, when you notice the scent fading.

A set has one more advantage: every time you replace the filter, you can try a different scent. See all sets here.

3. Sensitive skin

If your skin is sensitive, choose a softer scent or the unscented Pure Water. The main ingredients of the filter are plant extracts, but everyone’s skin is different: if you notice any irritation, stop using the filter.

4. As a gift

A shower filter is a practical and pleasant gift: it suits almost everyone, because everyone showers every day. For a gift, choose a set with several scents – the recipient can try them and find a favourite.

Before you buy – check your shower

The filter screws onto the mixer tap or under the shower head – it takes less than 5 minutes. We show how to do it step by step on the How to install a shower filter page.
