We usually associate vitamin C with oranges and cold season. But skin care has valued it for a long time – as one of the most powerful antioxidants. That is why it is in the Vitaminata shower filter too.
How does a filter with vitamin C work?
The filter works in two stages:
- It cleans. FilterNet fibre traps iron residue, sand, dirt and other impurities and softens the water.
- It enriches. A vitamin C capsule slowly dissolves and enriches the water with vitamin C and other skin-friendly ingredients.
This turns your daily shower into a small skin care ritual – with no extra products or time.
What else is in the filter?
Vitamin C is complemented by six active ingredients:
- Trehalose – a natural moisturising ingredient that helps your skin hold on to moisture.
- Hyaluronic acid – moisturises the skin.
- Tea tree extract – for dry and irritated skin.
- Milk powder – softens skin and hair.
- Natural glycerin – a moisturiser that helps keep skin supple.
- Aromatherapy – 13 scents that turn your shower into a pleasant moment.

Skin in winter: 5 tips
In the cold season skin dries out faster: it is cold and windy outside, and the heated air indoors is dry. A few habits help:
- Choose lukewarm water. A hot shower is very tempting in winter, but it dries the skin the most.
- Keep showers short. 5–10 minutes is enough.
- Moisturise straight away. Apply cream or oil while your skin is still slightly damp – it holds moisture better.
- Humidify the air. A humidifier helps, or even a bowl of water on the radiator.
- Drink enough water. We feel less thirsty in winter, but the skin still needs moisture.
Everyone’s skin is different. If your skin is very dry, does not recover or itches, talk to a dermatologist.
Is the filter suitable for the whole family?
Yes – the main ingredients are plant extracts, safe for people of any age. If you notice an allergic reaction, stop using the filter. If you do not like fragrances, choose the unscented Pure Water filter.
One filter lasts 30–60 days. See How long does a shower filter last for tips on making it last longer.
